This site counts visits without cookies, and only keeps what you send me yourself. Here is everything, in plain words.
Who is responsible
Oliver Morocz, a self-employed designer registered in the Czech Republic, IČO 08527458. For anything about your data, write to hello@olivermorocz.com.
Visit statistics
To see which work people look at and where they come from, I use Matomo, installed on my own hosting (stats.olivermorocz.com). Nothing is shared with Google or any other analytics company.
No cookies and nothing else is stored in your browser.
Your IP address is shortened before it is saved, so it can't point to you.
What is counted: the pages and case studies you open, the site that sent you here (including campaign tags in links), your browser, device type and approximate country, and whether you clicked the email address or sent the form.
If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, nothing is counted.
Detailed visit records are deleted after 6 months; only totals (like "120 visits in May") are kept.
Legal basis: my legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can switch it off here:

The Start a project form and email
When you send the form or email me, I get what you wrote: your name, email, company, the message, your answers to the choices, and any link or file. You also get an automatic confirmation email. I use this only to reply and to prepare an offer or a project with you (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). I keep it as long as we're in touch about the work, and for up to 3 years after our last contact, unless the law asks me to keep invoices and contracts longer.
To stop spam, the form remembers a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address for 24 hours to count how many messages were sent from it. It is then deleted.
Hosting and server logs
The site, the form and the statistics run on hosting from Namecheap, Inc., with servers in the USA. Like every web server, it briefly logs requests (IP address, time, page, browser) for security and to fix problems. Transfers to the USA are covered by the safeguards in Namecheap's data processing terms. Email I receive is also forwarded to my mailbox at Proton (Switzerland).
Films from Vimeo or YouTube
Most films on this site are served from my own hosting. A few case studies play a film from Vimeo or YouTube in their privacy mode (Vimeo with "do not track", YouTube from youtube-nocookie.com). When you open such a case study, your browser connects to that service, which sees your IP address and is covered by its own privacy policy.
Your rights
You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct it or delete it, limit or object to how I use it, or get it in a portable form. Write to hello@olivermorocz.com. You can also complain to the Czech data protection office, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů.
